General Dosage

680mg strontium citrate daily (one common dosage); prescription ranelate was 2g/day

Maximum dose: No established UL for strontium; 680mg citrate daily is the commonly used OTC dose

Timing: At bedtime, on an empty stomach; must be taken separately from calcium (separate by 2+ hours) as they compete for absorption
