  • Increased heart rate in some users
  • Diarrhea at higher doses
  • Headache in rare cases

Drug & Supplement Interactions

  • Blood pressure medications — may enhance hypotensive effects
  • Blood thinners — forskolin has antiplatelet effects; use caution
  • Calcium channel blockers — additive vasodilatory effects

Maximum Dose

Do not exceed: 500 mg/day of 10% extract (50 mg forskolin); higher doses not well studied
